Cups of Hope was born in January of 2020 at Rwanda Bean in Portland, ME. Together, we realized the simple act of giving someone a cup of coffee for encouragement was an ice breaker to a relationship.

Our purpose is to plant seeds of hope in people's lives. Giving a cup of coffee creates a unique opportunity to hear someone's story and provides a moment to speak a word of encouragement to them. Everyone is searching for hope -- so we pour out love from the overflow and abundance of God's grace and mercy in our lives and share the provision we've been given. Cups of Hope has served over 4,000 cups of coffee, hundreds of breakfast sandwiches, hygiene kits, backpacks, clothing, dog treats, hugs, and prayers.
